Hello! We are Lambros and Alicia. We are so excited to become parents for the first time! We promise that we will provide your child with a lifetime of unconditional love, happiness, guidance, and support. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us!

We met in 2002 while working for the same company in Virginia, outside of D.C. We had an immediate connection although we didn’t meet face-to-face until four months after I started working at the company. At the time, Lambros was splitting his time between New Jersey and Virginia, but we spoke daily due to both of our positions within the company. We met for the first time at our Christmas party but you would have thought we had known each other for years. Although we were both dating other people over the following five years, we always had a flirtatious friendship. In fact, everyone in our office had a running bet on when we would finally date! Lambros’ role in the company changed over time and he was needed more in Virginia as one of the Directors of the company. New Jersey was his home and moving to Virginia would be a big adjustment. As his friend, I felt badly for him, so we began hanging out more and more frequently. After five long years of friendship, we made the jump to couple! We became engaged in November of 2009 over the Thanksgiving holiday while celebrating with friends in Wyoming. I like to joke that Black Friday took on a whole new meaning when he proposed! We moved to New Jersey full-time in 2010 when we both left our positions and Lambros started his own company. We married in September of 2011 in the fields of our backyard with close friends and family. And the rest is history! Lambros is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. I love his personality, his passion for animals and the environment, his zest for life, and his love of family and friends. He will be an exceptional, hands on father. I cannot wait to grow our family together.

Alicia and I developed an immediate bond prior to meeting in person, and that bond was immediately solidified upon one of our first meetings when she laughed at what I was dressed in and I found her to be beautiful doing so. She has proved time and again to be a kind, patient, thoughtful, caring, and loving partner and stood with me as a team as I started and grew my business. All of this she can do while making light of our world, keeping both the simple and difficult very fun. We share a sense of humor so there is a lot of laughter in our house and world. We share a love of animals and nature and the importance of strong friendships, so there is a lot of love in our world. But we do differ. Alicia loves Britney Spears and Pop, while I am more of a Grateful Dead and Jam guy so there is a lot of balance in our home. We share a love of travel so there is a lot of adventure and change of scenery in our lives. In 2010 the winter was so mild that we decided to “find winter” and drove 8,500 miles around the country with Hutch, found the cold and many friends, and quickly retreated to sunny Arizona. With a great love and relationship there comes a sense of security and ease that allows more space for life’s pleasures. Thanks to finding Alicia, we have that now and would greatly like to share it by expanding our family.

Our home life is filled with laughter, love, and happiness. We love spending time together with our beloved dog, Hutch. We enjoy traveling to new places, or going back to old places to share with each other, spending time outdoors, exercising, and entertaining family and friends!

We are both close with our families and consider our friends to be an extension of our families. We visit with our families yearly. We’d love to see them more but distance is a factor. Everyone has been very supportive of our decision to adopt and each family member and friend will play a large role in our child’s life.

Our home is situated on two acres, on a rural road, with quick access to a great town recently voted the best small town in the US, although it behaves more like a small city. It is a great community to raise children in, with the top schools in New Jersey and lots of great education choices including the 6th best High School in the United States. We are the second owners of our home and are currently transitioning the home from the 1950s to 2015, including “adding” a level with a 4th bedroom, extra bath, play/recreational room, man cave, and entertainment room. We sit high on a cliff with a front breathtaking view overlooking a canal and river with over 1,000 acres preserved and behind us a private path from our house leads directly to a mostly secret beautiful preserve of over 600 acres of mowed paths, wooded trails, and a bird sanctuary that we use daily, year round. In the winter we ski, and the rest of the year run and hike. Lamb and Hutch have been known to swim in the creek.

We can only try to understand the difficulty in the decisions that lie ahead for you. It is obvious the plan you are making is being made out of love, courage and selflessness and that you are trying to make the best decision for this child. We hope by looking at our photos and reading about our lives you will find comfort in knowing how much we want to share our lives with a child.

All the Best,

Alicia and Lambros
