We hope that after learning more about us, you can find some comfort in knowing your child be always be loved and treasured.
We have been together for 4 years and enjoy each other’s company more and more each day. We knew from the very beginning that this was a love to last an eternity. We love spending time with family and friends and taking our dogs to the park for long walks. We were married on Labor Day weekend in 2011. We had two of our close friends marry us in a beautiful outdoor ceremony on a lake.
About Leah By John
Where to start with Leah? I think she is the most beautiful woman in the world both inside and out. Her love for others is amazing, from the people she takes care of at work to friends and family, her heart shows no limits. Her love of animals and kids can be seen by all and therefore returned as well. She likes to dress up our dogs, always worrying about them being warm enough in the winter and cool enough in the summer. She is the smartest person I know with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, and her head always in a book. From biographies to novels, she reads them all. Her sense of humor is great and just causes me to crack up all the time. I love the fact that she is at home anywhere. She can dress up and go to a Broadway play or dress down to go ripping through the mud on a quad. She the type of person that motivates those around her to be a better person. She is the love of my life and I would be lost without her. She is the best part of me.
About John by Leah
There are so many things I could tell you about John. I could tell you he is one of the best mechanics I know, or how much he loves his ’79 Monte Carlo that he hopes to restore on day, or that he enjoys woodworking, or how much he loves his dogs–but those could not begin to explain John. John is hardworking and determined. He struggled to put himself through college, even with a learning disability, but he would not let that defeat him and he earned his associate’s degree. John is a provider and will always make sure his family has everything they need in life no matter the sacrifices he has to make. John is everyone’s friend and no matter who you are or how close to you he is, he treats you the same. He would give anyone his last dollar or the shirt off his back if they needed it. This not only applies to his friends but his family also. Family means the world to him and it shows by how much they all love him. When he is around his nieces and nephews nothing else matters but their happiness. He is always making them laugh and smile. John is my soul mate and there is no one else in this world I would want to raise a child with.
Family and Friends
We do not have any children and we are so excited that we will be adopting and bringing a child into our home and our lives. We have a very loving and close knit supportive family who are also eagerly awaiting the arrival of a new member. John’s family lives out of state but we get to visit frequently, and Leah’s lives close by. Leah was raised Jewish and John was raised celebrating Catholic holidays. We plan to raise our child celebrating both religions and letting them experience the happiness we both knew growing up. We also think our child should be taught about their own cultural heritage. Whatever that may be, we will embrace it and weave it into our family fabric. We have a very close knit bond with our friends and they are an extension of our family. We spend much of our free time with our friends and our child will grow up with an extensive support system from everyone in our lives. Our friends are extremely supportive of us, and we of them.
We are very close with all their children and attend all their extracurricular activities.
Our Home and Community
Two years ago we bought our first home together. We live in a spacious three bedroom ranch with a large yard within walking distance of several parks and schools. It is a quiet neighborhood filled with the sounds of children playing, where all the neighbors help each other out when needed. Since buying our home, we have made many upgrades and improvements and our home is ready and equipped for a child to grow in. The town we live in has many local sports teams and activities for the children. We also live within minutes of the beach and plan to spend our summers enjoying it with our child.
Our message to you

We can not imagine what you are going through but we can assure you your child will be in a loving home and will be taken care of for the rest of his or her life. We admire your strength and courage and hope that we have given you a glimpse into our life and the life we can offer your child. We are so excited to be parents and cannot wait to welcome a little bundle of joy into our hearts and home. We will make sure that your child grows up to understand adoption in loving ways and knows that you will always love them.
