Introduction
Hello! We are Emily and Kyle. We have two children, Adelaide and Stella, and would love to expand our family through adoption. We admire and respect the sacrifice that you are making and thank you for considering adoption.
About Us
Kyle and I met at a restaurant in New York City, we have been inseparable ever since! We have been married for 10 years. After 5 years of being married we had our daughter Adelaide and soon after came our other daughter Stella. Adoption has always been in our family plan, it is something we hold very dear to our hearts. I am a nurse practitioner and am currently employed part time (one day a week) as a school nurse. Kyle is in finance. I am lucky enough to be at home with the children and I wouldn't have it any other way. We love being a family and providing a structured, secure foundation for raising our children. We are looking forward to becoming a family of five, as we know it will be such an amazing blessing.
Family Life
We love to be busy and active. We are always going on a new adventure. We love spending time with our family and friends and hosting parties. Our day wouldn't be complete without being silly or dancing in the kitchen. We love to listen to music. In the summer we love to take family trips to the beach and swimming in our pool. We love to ski and often go on ski trips in the winter. Adelaide enjoys gymnastics, ballet, and playing tennis. Stella loves to be active, I take her to mommy and me classes weekly as well as a little gym class, music class, and swimming. Both girls can't wait for another little baby to love.
Our Friends and Family
Our family and friends are extremely important to us. We value the relationships that we have and keep them close to our heart. Emily comes from a close family that we are lucky enough to live in the same town as. We see them many times throughout the week and spend a lot of time together. They are always there to help when need be, we are so so lucky. My sister has a baby and Adelaide and Stella love him so much they ask about him all the time. They are always wanting to help whenever the baby comes over and are so loving towards him. Kyle's family lives in North Carolina and we usually get to see them about once or twice a year. Even though there is a distance between us we try to stay as active in each other’s lives as we can. Our families and friends are supportive of our adoption plan and cannot wait to help us welcome another sweet baby into our family.
Our Home and Community
Our home is in a suburban neighborhood at the end of a cul-de-sac. Our house has five bedrooms, a finished basement, a playroom, and a pool and swing set in the backyard. Our street is great for taking a walk and learning how to ride a bike. Our community is very friendly and welcoming, and we are always lending a helping hand when someone is in need. We have multiple parks, a reservation close by where we go hiking, and great schools. We live within walking distance to one of the elementary schools which was named a "blue ribbon school." Our children will go to this school. Our town is also near many ski areas, hockey rinks, and New York City, where we go often on day trips. We have great neighbors. There are tons of children to play with. We could not be happier in our home and are so excited to welcome another new little one into our family and community.
Our Message to You
More than anything we want you to know that we will love your child unconditionally and will nurture him or her to grow to be the best person that he or she can be. We promise to provide an upbringing in which values such as generosity, kindness, and respect for others are taught every day. We also promise to encourage your child's hopes and dreams and to provide the best possible education. We will provide a loving stable home with lots of laughter, hugs, and kisses.
Your child will always know where he or she came from and how much they were loved. We want him or her to have an understanding and appreciation for the tremendous sacrifice you made out of love. We hope this glimpse of our lives gives you an idea of how much love we have to share with another child.
